Crisis Prevention

Crisis Prevention

Turning instability into safety through proactive planning, skilled de-escalation, and a commitment to least restrictive practice.
Our Methodology

Prevention Before Reaction.

Crisis usually happens when needs go unmet or triggers are missed. Our goal is to prevent placement breakdowns by identifying these signs early.

We use a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) framework to understand why a crisis might happen. By building consistent routines and using skilled de-escalation, we reduce the need for physical intervention and keep everyone safe.

Creating detailed plans that identify specific triggers and “rumbling” signs, allowing staff to intervene early before a crisis peaks.

Staff are trained to use verbal strategies, body language, and empathy to lower emotional temperature and diffuse tension.

We don’t just move on. We debrief after every incident to understand what happened and adjust support plans to prevent recurrence.

We are committed to reducing restraint. We always choose the option that maximizes safety while preserving dignity and freedom.

Our Promise

Stability When It Matters Most.

“When support is inconsistent, risks increase. We provide the calm structure and professional boundaries needed to stabilize complex situations and prevent placement breakdown.”
