How We Start Support
We keep it simple, transparent, and focused on your loved one.
1
Initial Chat
Call us or email. We listen to your needs, discuss funding (Direct Payments/Council), and see if we are a good fit.
2
Assessment
We meet you and your loved one (at home or a neutral place) to understand their personality, risks, and goals.
3
Matching
We don’t just send “anyone.” We select staff with the right skills and personality to match your loved one.
Start & Review
Support begins with a clear plan. We review progress regularly to ensure everyone is happy and safe.
Support That Reassures. Care That Empowers.
“Young.Consultants brought calm back into our home.” They supported our child with routines,
behavior, and confidence and kept us updated every step of the way. The consistency made the biggest difference.
“We finally felt listened to.” From the first meeting, the team understood our child’s needs and created a plan that actually worked. They helped with appointments, paperwork, and daily structure and our child is now engaging in the community again.
“Professional, kind, and reliable.” The support workers are patient and respectful. They communicated clearly and handled challenging moments safely. We’ve seen real progress in emotional regulation and routines.
“They support the whole family, not just the young person.” They helped us understand strategies we can use at home and supported us in meetings. We don’t feel alone anymore.
Questions You Need Answered
Will we have the same staff members?
Yes. Consistency is one of our core values. We build a small team around each individual so they can form genuine, trusting relationships. We do not rely on a revolving door of agency staff.
How do you handle challenging behaviour?
We use Positive Behaviour Support (PBS). We view behaviour as communication. Our focus is on understanding triggers, creating calm environments, and using proactive de-escalation strategies to prevent crises before they happen.
What funding do you accept?
We accept referrals funded by Local Authorities (Social Services), Direct Payments, Personal Health Budgets (PHB), and private funding. We can help guide you through the process if you are unsure.
Can I speak to the Director?
Absolutely. We pride ourselves on being accessible. You can contact Sam (Director) directly at 07462 580758 if you have specific concerns or need advice.
