We provide specialist, person-centred support for children, young people, and young adults with learning difficulties, special educational needs, and neurodiverse profiles, regardless of whether an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) is in place. Our services recognise that needs exist on a spectrum and that effective support should not be limited by formal diagnosis or statutory plans.
Our Understanding and Approach
We acknowledge that individuals with SEN and neurodiversity often communicate needs through behaviour, emotional responses, and non-verbal cues rather than words alone. Our approach is grounded in adaptive mentoring, progress advising, and trauma-informed practice, enabling us to understand each individual’s unique learning style, sensory profile, emotional regulation needs, and social experiences.
Neurodiversity may include, but is not limited to:
- Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
- Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, and Dyscalculia
- Speech, language, and communication needs
- Social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs
- Mild to moderate learning difficulties

- At risk of disengagement or exclusion

- Rebuild trust with peers, families, and professionals
We use structured mentoring to model positive interactions and support more constructive responses to challenging situations.
Support With an EHCP
For individuals with an EHCP, our services align with identified outcomes across education, health, and social care. We contribute directly to EHCP objectives through structured mentoring, adaptive learning strategies, and progress monitoring. Our work supports:
- Educational engagement and attainment
- Emotional regulation and social development
- Independence and life skills
- Preparation for adulthood, employment, or further education
We provide clear outcome tracking, session reporting, and feedback to commissioning bodies to support annual reviews and statutory compliance.
Age Range and Transitions
Our services are delivered across a range of ages, typically 11–25, subject to commissioning. Particular emphasis is placed on:
- Transition points (primary to secondary, post-16, post-18)
- NEET prevention and re-engagement
- Support for care-experienced young people and those with additional vulnerabilities
Outcomes and Impact
Across all cohorts, our aim is to translate insight into measurable progress, including:
- Improved emotional awareness and self-regulation
- Increased engagement in education, training, or employment
- Enhanced confidence, communication, and decision-making
- Reduced risk of exclusion or breakdown in placement
- Greater independence and long-term stability
Our Commitment
We are committed to inclusive, strengths-based practice that recognises neurodiversity as difference rather than deficit. By adapting our support to the individual — not the system — we help young people and young adults build clarity, resilience, and meaningful progress, whether or not they have an EHCP.
